Havanna, a beloved brand of Argentina, needed a confection jewel box, a cohesive packaging of a kiosk. The goal of the project was to distill the cafe experience into a smaller, freestanding space. We started from a cube, knowing the kiosks would be seen and experienced from every side, even from above. We created a bold and colorful approach of establishing a unified environmental language that was recognizable, identifiable, and playful.

The kiosk design represented the consolidation and amalgamation of the branding, packaging and cafe environment design. We played with extraction and combination of lines. While it was a square, we paid homage to all sides, counters, and display cases working together.

The pure enthusiasm of the graphic design team created moments of tension, surprise,  and release as their excitement grew around the project. With them, I learned to pay attention to the nuance of environmental colors reflecting, honoring and highlighting packaging.

Learning the value of a multidisciplinary team. Becoming creative muses for one another. A reminder to be present as surprises can arrive at any moment and by unexpected channels. Spices come together so the meal speaks to everybody.
